About the role

Rhodes Vets is a first opinion practice based in Northampton who are looking to support a New Graduate Small Animal Vet.  They are fantastic team made up of 5 Vets (4 full time and 1 part time), 4 Nurses and 1 Student Nurse.

Normal hours will be three long days working 8am – 7pm with one short day working 8am – 4:30pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays working 8am – 1pm.

Rhodes vets is a long running practice, established in 1958 with a strong client base and a friendly and supportive team. The practice has wonderful facilities and equipment such as brand new Dental and Digital X-ray machines, Ultrasound, large theatre and kennel areas and in house lab equipment including full biochemistry, haematology and electrolytes, microscopes, endoscope, bronchoscope and multiparameter.

The practice offers great support to the new Graduate such as assigning the Graduate a mentor who will guide them through consults and surgical procedures being sure to allow the Graduate to assist.  They will hold one to ones for the graduates, longer appointments slots and more frequent breaks.
