About the role

Kingsway Vet Group is a 1st Opinion and Hospital practice based in North Yorkshire who are looking to support a New Graduate Small Animal Vet.  They have 6 Vets, 12 Veterinary Nurses and 1 Student Nurse with certificate holders in Orthopaedic and Soft Tissue.

The hospital surgery is open from 8:30am to 6:30pm with one late night until 8pm Monday to Friday. Open Saturday 8.30am -1pm. OOH cover from 6.30pm to 8.30am. Saturday OOH cover from 1pm to 8.30am. Sunday OOH cover from 8.30am to Monday 8.30am. Some branch cover may be required. Vet rota will be 1:7 for OOH and weekend cover.

The practice is set in an idyllic part of the country, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and they give a great work life balance to enjoy all of this right on the doorstep. The whole team are friendly and approachable.  The New Graduate will be assigned a mentor in the practice who will spend time with them on a one to one basis to build their confidence to progress further within the practice and to certificate level if this is something they would like to do.  The practice have fantastic facilities and many wonderful wellbeing initiatives in place.
