We are a friendly practice located in Sheffield, a brilliant city with 2 theatres, good shopping and cinemas. It is also next door to the glorious peak district which is amazing for hiking, biking and climbing. It is close to M1 so easy to get around the country too!
We are committed to staff wellbeing and patient care. We hold regular whole practice meetings and regular clinical Vet meetings. The practice is like a big happy family. We like to get involved in the local community and support local charities such as Cat Ching and Yorkshire Poundies. Regular social nights out are enjoyed by all!
We have good facilities (lab, ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, diathermy) and pleasant, spacious consult rooms. We support personal development across the whole practice and have two, soon to be three, certificate holders. Case discussions are actively encouraged.
Step into a supportive start
Your normal hours of work are 40 hours per week, 5 days a week. Due to the particular needs of the business we need to operate a rota system, therefore there are no normal times of work applicable to you and your daily hours, start and finish times will vary from time to time on a rota system. The rota operates Monday to Friday inclusive. In addition, you may also be required to participate in a weekend rota.
We want to help you become the Vet you want to be! We will support you to develop all the competencies you need to be a good GP vet and beyond!
