Unlock your passions @ Wilton House Vets

Wilton House is perfectly situated in the beautiful Cleveland hills, but also close to coast, so excellent walking and activity area. We are located in a large market town, very close to Teesside Airport and local train stations, it has some amazing eating places and many pubs in the town that offer a wide range of activities, or if you prefer a quite stroll the hills are on the doorstep.

Our wonderful team are a friendly group of very caring and compassionate people, who support each other inside practice and out with group activities. We are made up of 3 Vets, 5 Nurses and 1 VCA along with a newly appointed CD who brings a wealth of experience to the team. One of our Vets is studying for a certificate in Radiology. The Nurses are so supportive, and they play a vital role in supporting our Vets daily, as well as having some wonderful relationships with the clients and their pets.

Practice facilities include Idexx in House lab equipment, digital x-ray, Ultrasound scanner, mutiparameter anesthetic monitoring and we will have a dental x-ray shortly.

Step into a supportive start

Your normal hours of work are 40 hours per week, 4 days a week. Due to the particular needs of the business we need to operate a rota system, therefore there are no normal times of work applicable to you and your daily hours, start and finish times will vary from time to time on a rota system. The rota operates Monday to Friday inclusive. In addition, you will also be required to participate in a Saturday morning rota.

Our graduate will have a mentor with many years experience in supporting and teaching in practice, support will be available to improve surgery techniques, and perfect small animal medicine cases, the large nursing team will support daily too, having a good support network we find key to the progression of our graduates, we like vets to feel confident and we encourage openness and communication at every point in the day.
