Our 52,000+ employees in 400+ locations around the world serve a broad range of companies and organisations including industrial, commercial, and government clients across multiple markets and geographies.

That’s because Jacobs is much more than a traditional engineering company.

About the role

This role sits within Jacobs Digital. Jacobs Digital is a central team within Jacobs driving digital across the company. Digital for us is not just about technology. Digital is client led. A transformation of how and what we provide to our clients. Creating a smarter, more connected and customer centric value proposition.

Jacobs Digital is a team of developers, incubation, product and technology solution experts who are driving digital change across Jacobs and our clients. We’re customer and user focused, where digital starts with culture and new ways of working, driving new business models, whilst incorporating technology and data into all our services and solutions.

Jacobs across the UK and Ireland is committed to early careers and recently launched a new internship programme in several offices. This programme is aimed towards undergraduates who are either approaching their final year of study or have completed a principal degree and have a gap before starting a postgraduate course.  We have an opportunity for GIS Interns to join our Digital team from our Ireland Office in Belfast, starting Summer 2022. Pending the Covid rules in effect at this time the role will be fully or partly carried out remotely rather than in the office.
