The teams here at the Digital Delivery Centre (DDC) are on a journey to transform the digital future of Jaguar Land Rover, designing and building innovative systems and products for one of the world’s leading luxury automotive brands in new and exciting ways.
We’re looking for graduates with a passion for innovative problem solving, quality-first coding and continual improvement who want to become true technical leaders. You’ll be working closely with other multi-disciplined engineers with opportunities to learn and enhance your career, as well as inspiring and influencing the wider organisation as we transform how Jaguar Land Rover builds and operates digital vehicles.
As a graduate at the DDC, you will have the opportunity to work as a Software Engineer where you will apply techniques such as pair programming and test-driven development to deliver new features for our products. You will also experience the role of a Software Engineer in Test, where you will act as a quality advocate in the team and work with a range of automated testing tools. Lastly, there will be the opportunity to work as part of our Site Reliability Engineer team, where you will support the management of our cloud platform using modern practices such as Infrastructure as Code.
There will be the opportunity to specialise in any of the pathways experienced as part of the graduate programme.
The IT Graduate Programme will provide you with the opportunity to thrive in an exciting, dynamic and creative start-up environment, while also enjoying the security, resources and influence of an established and successful organisation. You’ll constantly be learning from more experienced engineers about technical and non-technical best practices, but you’ll also be a key member of the team and have opportunities to change those practices, propose new approaches and ways of working. You’ll be working on real projects making a real difference from day one.
The work we do is complex and of great importance to the business, and with that there can be high pressure at times. Despite this, we never compromise on our culture and values; ensuring we have a collaborative, inclusive and psychologically safe work environment.
What’s required
Excellence runs throughout our entire business, and we expect you to be the same. You will have or expect to achieve a 2:2 degree or higher in Computer Science, IT or other technology focussed subject. But more important, is a passion for analytics and problem solving, the curiosity to understand a business problem and explore innovative solutions, the confidence to champion new initiatives, strong numerical skills and be an excellent communicator.

You will Join us on a starting salary of £29,000, you’ll also receive a £2,000 joining bonus to welcome you to Jaguar Land Rover.
