This is a new and exciting opportunity to work in the finance department of one of the largest and fastest-growing Aim-listed companies in the UK - Jet2 Plc. The role represents an incredible opportunity to see and experience how a large finance team operates, whilst also providing the support and structure for the candidate to obtain a professional accountancy qualification.

Job Summary

Over a period of three years, whilst studying towards a Level 7 Accountancy and Taxation Professional Apprenticeship (CIMA/ACCA Accreditation), you will gain a broad range of finance experience, working within a number of different teams across the finance function.  It is anticipated that you will typically rotate into a new role every 12 months.

The areas of Finance in which you may gain experience are:

  • Finance Business Partnering & Reporting – working with business partners across the company, providing support and analysis to understand and forecast performance, identify opportunities and risks and also quantify the impact of business decisions on financial performance
  • Group Finance – there are a wide range of roles within the Group Finance team, covering the following areas:
    • Group Reporting
    • Group Taxation
    • Financial Control
    • Treasury
  • Risk & Internal Audit - working with business stakeholders to provide assurance to the board on key risk areas

At the end of the initial three year training programme, candidates will be offered a permanent role within the finance function subject to performance and completion of the apprenticeship qualification.

Entry Requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above
  • Strong academics up to degree level
  • The ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Highly numerate with a strong attention to detail
  • IT skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • A passion for the Jet2.com and Jet2holidays brands are essential

Please note we will have two intakes of Apprentices - March 2022 and September 2022, and you will be asked which intake you would like to apply for during the application process.
