    We are looking for a Graduate Planner to join our Construction team in London.

    What will you be responsible for?

    As a Graduate Planner, you'll be working with our Kier Construction team who work with public sector and blue-chip organisations to deliver outstanding construction projects, whilst harnessing our strategic capabilities and digital construction to help clients meet their decarbonisation goals.

    Your day to day will include:

    • Use of Project Management tools to plan timeframes, record progress and create short term plans.
    • Support development of detailed construction programmes, with the support of the team and information provided by the supply chain.
    • Working alongside members of the team to produce high quality logistic and sequencing diagrams produced in liaison with the project team.
    • Be able to produce clear and concise statements describing the programme strategy and construction methodology.
    • Continually visit and monitor current projects to provide planning support and ensure accurate progress reporting and Collaborate with the team on record keeping.

    How does the graduate scheme work?

    When you join, you will be enrolled onto our graduate scheme. The programme will take 2 years to complete and has been designed to equip you with the skills you need to excel in your chosen profession and help you achieve professional membership or chartership.

    What are we looking for?

    We do not have any grade requirements, but we do ask that you have a degree in Construction, or Engineering, or equivalent.

    The role of Graduate Planner is great for you if you:

    • Have a degree in Construction, Engineering or equivalent.
    • Can work collaboratively as part of a wider team.
    • Punctual, self-motivated, and willing to learn.

    For this role you'll also have to have completed, or due to complete your degree by September 2024.
