About the role
- Duration: 13 months, starting July 1st, 2024, ending 25th of July 2025
- Salary: £18,525 per year
- Benefits: 25 days paid holiday + UK bank holidays, employee assist program and more
- Location: Malvern office
- Hybrid working, based on your tasks.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a STEM degree (Engineering or Physics) that offers an Industrial Placement Year
- Right to work and live in the UK for the duration of the placement.
- An understanding of different engineering disciplines ,mechanical, electronic and software would be ideal.
- An understanding of concept design, CAD, prototyping, and testing.
- An awareness of systems engineering principles such as DFX, FMEA, and DOE.
- Passionate approach to theoretical and practical problem solving on scientific instrumentation.
- Creative thinking – design will be at the heart of this work.
- An interest in understanding customer needs and communicating results.
- Curiosity and desire to learn – the projects are interdisciplinary.
- A scientific approach to problem solving.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
