The impact you’ll make

Proactively promoting all the options open to them, as well as being on hand to answer any questions about our hotels and services, you’ll make sure they know about everything they could wish for – and more. You’ll help create the warmest welcomes and most memorable visits that keep them coming back again and again.

What to expect

You’ll be based at the Sheraton Heathrow Hotel in a reactive, target-oriented setting, reporting to the Events Manager. In this role you will work closely with Sales & Revenue departments as well as the hotel's Operations Departments to ensure a high standard of service delivery aiming to strengthen customer relations and loyalty. You will oversee all aspects of event from the enquiry stage to planning and execution.

What you’ll do

  • Prepare sales-related documents, including proposals, contracts and banquet event orders
  • Put together information packages, brochures and other promotional materials
  • Use sales techniques to maximise revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty
  • Promote awareness of our brand image internally and externally
  • Be a point of contact for clients and guests, responding to questions about hotel facilities and services
  • Perform general office duties to support Sales & Events

Education and Experience

Required

  • High school diploma or GED; 2 years’ experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, reservations, front desk, or related professional area.

Or

  • Demonstrates excellent selling skills, strong communication skills, and a detailed understanding of property operations
  • Essential knowledge of Sales activities which drive Revenue

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Marriott sales systems, including PMS, Opera, Marsha,
