The role

The Marketing Executive is a crucial role within the Sales and Marketing department and will assist and provide support to the Marketing Manager in the hotel marketing, branding, digital and social media tactics and actions. Specifically supporting in three primary fields: Design, Social Media & Digital. To guarantee success in this role, the ideal candidate must have an understanding of how to develop and implement digital, print and social design assets, content marketing strategy; proven marketing relationships; strong writing skills and speaking; and the ability to handle multiple priorities and projects effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and creating the hotel standard marketing materials and collateral.
  • Holding responsibility for all of hotel social media activity primarily centred around Facebook, Instagram and X.
  • Creating content including animations, gifs using Canva and other tools to be distributed online and offline through the channels.
  • Developing email marketing activities/newsletter, managing list and segments, email reporting and data analysis using the Marriott Local Campaign Builder Tool.
  • Working with Marriott Digital Field Marketing team on website audits, SEO, PLUS & Travel ads for the hotel and F&B.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers and nurture new ones to gain cooperation and respect in order to earn a trusted reputation.
  • Supporting the liaison between the F&B department and the Marketing department on the tactical F&B communications campaigns and hotel marketing plan.
  • Supporting the marketing department on any marketing & social media activities surrounding Evenings at Renaissance (the hotel’s music and entertainment platform).
  • Managing the execution of hotel F&B sponsored events and community activities.
  • Overseeing the co-ordination and execution of all F&B printed materials (including seasonal menu changes) whilst also controlling quantities and inventory.
  • Support and liaison with the PR agency on any press activities and campaigns.
  • Proactively contributing ideas and sharing creative solutions to make St. Pancras the best possible workplace and destination of choice for our guests.
  • Capturing photos in our restaurants, hotel and locations.
  • Developing and maintaining creative, diversified and high-quality content on our social media.
  • Keeping up to date with social media trends, F&B, lifestyle, fashion trends and translates into the wider social media & Marketing strategy for St. Pancras.
  • Responsible for content management for independent websites, hotel elevated website and other sites like Memories Made through CMS and MDS.
  • Social media campaigns/influencer marketing – managing social media budget, social media strategy and influencer marketing strategies (reactively and proactively) in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong understanding of standards and procedures.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering excellence in customer service.
