The Programme
- A program designed for emerging software engineers with good professional work experience, who are ready to elevate their learning with a dynamic global technology organization.
- You’ll be immediately immersed in a development program that enables you to expedite your ability to make an impact.
- The program will start with a short period of intensive training to get you up to speed quickly on our practices, engineering principles, security standards, monitoring, and testing requirements, etc.
- The Elevate experience goes beyond training however, it’s about immersing you in our business, culture, and technology. You’ll have an opportunity to build a network across the Elevate community as well as our software development engineering guild.
- You’ll then be prepared to begin the next step of your journey as part of a software engineering team where you’ll be able to experience first-hand the scope, scale, and diversity of our technologies and our customers.
Role
- Hands-on developer who writes high-quality, secure code for a feature that is modular, functional, and testable.
- Contribute to all parts of the software’s development including design, development, documentation, and testing.
- Have strong end-to-end ownership of your team’s software for build and run and involve deeply to deliver a highly available operational experience by building resiliency, performance, and observable patterns from the start.
- Communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a global environment.
All About You
- Solid technical foundation with a Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and core computer science concepts.
- Evidence of working with object-oriented development and design patterns.
- Good professional work experience in Java development with Spring/Hibernate would be essential.
- It would also be beneficial to have experience in some of the following programming languages (C#, Python, JavaScript, C++, etc.) and open development frameworks (Angular, .NET Core, etc.)
- Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
