We work with some of the UK’s most interesting brands and we’re looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to come and join us. Armbands optional.
The Part You’ll Play as a Commercial Finance Analyst
We are currently looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to manage the provision of relevant, appropriate and timely information for business planning.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working in a small, dedicated team you will be directly supporting the Commercial Manager in managing the financials for one of our largest clients.
- Preparing and analysing weekly and monthly management reports on revenue, forecasts, recoverability and utilization.
- Interpretation of data and clear, concise communication to ensure understanding from non-financial members of McCann.
- Identify and investigate variances against forecasts, liaising with the client services team.
- Assisting the Commercial Manager with the preparation and coordination of the monthly reports for submission to executive meetings.
- Supervision of WIP & Billing ensuring recovery of committed costs.
- Exploring the development of new reports and information systems in line with the changing needs of the business.
As Commercial Finance Analyst You’ll Bring
Minimum requirements:
- Experience in a commercial analysis role preferably within a finance / management accounting department
- Extensive Excel skills including: vLookups; Pivot tables; nested IF statements, manipulation of data & formatting
- Experience in or interest in learning Power Bi
- Ability to structure reports and interpret financial information
- High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
- Confident self-starter capable of handling high volumes of work and data
- Flexible to be able to adapt and respond to meet changing agency needs and requirements
