    The Role

    The PFaroe Wealth team is looking for an intern for a 10-week assignment. The successful candidates will gain experience of commercial software development while working with the latest software technologies, design methodologies and cloud infrastructure services.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the ongoing development of PFaroe Wealth suite of APIs.
    • Formulation and delivery of automated test coverage solutions.
    • Supporting documentation.
    • Internal and external presentations.

    The Department and Team

    Buyside Solutions, a division of Moody's, provides intuitive, user-friendly risk analytics and reporting for the pensions and investment market. Through our award-winning, customizable risk management solutions, our clients can identify, evaluate, and manage risk while effectively capitalizing on investment opportunities.

    The PFaroe Wealth product suite delivers a flexible framework that provides extensive coverage of a wide range of investments to provide transparency into a portfolio’s exposure, risk, and performance.

    Based in Edinburgh, the PFaroe Wealth team is looking for a talented, motivated individual to join the software development department.

    Qualifications

    • Strong academic background - completed or currently pursuing a computing science university degree.
    • Extensive understanding of the principles of software development.
    • Good written and excellent communication and organisational skills.
    • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels.
    • Team player
    • Highly organised and efficient.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Well-developed IT skills including Email, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • The role is 35 hours per week, and is hybrid with approximately 2 days a week in the office. You must be in Edinburgh for the duration of the internship (16th June - 22nd August).
