With all of our Early Career opportunities you will not need to relocate. You can work from anywhere. You choose your location based on your working day.
We don’t ask for you to have achieved a certain degree subject or classification for our Finance programme. However, for our Graduate programme you must have a degree (or will have completed your degree by the time you start with us in September 2022) in order to be eligible to apply. For our Industrial Placement programme you must be at university and looking to complete this placement as part of your degree, returning to university for your final year once this placement is completed. We view our Industrial Placements as a pipeline into our Graduate Programmes.

What you’ll be doing
This is a real job and you’ll be on the ground ensuring we spend our members’ money wisely, improving efficiency and productivity in everything we do. Building and maintaining strong working relationships will give you a firm foundation upon which to tackle complex and sometimes ambiguous challenges. Attention to detail and an eagerness to find solutions is the key to succeeding.
On the Finance programme, you could be working in areas such as: Financial Reporting, Financial Controls and Operations, Treasury, Financial Planning and Stress Testing, Efficiency and Cost Management and Strategy & Change.
Within the Treasury Specialist Programme, you will undertake all your placements within the Treasury sub-community over 2 years.
Our Finance Graduate Programme is 3 years and to continue your development we will support you with funding and study leave to earn a relevant professional qualification. We can support CIMA and ACA in Finance.

The extras you’ll get
Our Graduate programme is a permanent contract with a starting salary of £28,000, and our Industrial Placements are a 12-month fixed-term contract from September 2022 – September 2023 with a starting salary of £18,200.
