We are now looking for a Graduate Technical Marketing Engineer to join our team in September 2024.

What our Graduate Technical Marketing Engineer will do

The purpose of this role is to contribute to the marketing strategy with a focus on scaling the business by driving new solutions and ideas for customer expansion. You will create and curate content to drive Awareness, Interest, Desire and Action within the design engineering communities of our customers and prospects. 

Working as part of the wider Marketing team, this will be your ‘home’ department. Over the initial 2 year period, you will also gain the opportunity to rotate and contribute into different areas of the business to gain a broader understanding of our products, processes and people. The role will naturally include a lot of interdepartmental collaboration with the intended goal being that you lead cross functional project teams.

We are looking for a Graduate Technical Marketing Engineer who is self motivated, able to communicate with people in a variety of different teams and levels and has the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new situations and information. This is a fast paced environment where both good planning and flexibility to changes are paramount. We are looking for someone who is able to take the initiative and make the most of the opportunity to grow and develop with us.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Developing new approaches to streamline the experience of design engineers using Nexperia products  
  • Developing and maintaining various marketing software tools both internally and externally (software/coding/engineering) 
  • Providing marketing guidance, steer and vision for engineering teams such as online support tools, evaluation boards, videos and more 
  • Ensuring product and application demos support the wider marketing strategy 
  • Contributing to marketing campaigns to push selected portfolios to new markets 
  • Tracking & reporting on opportunities and design-wins
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects as required

What our Graduate Technical Marketing Engineer will need

Essential

  • To be a recent graduate in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar
  • An aptitude for programming and software (any language or stack) 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to learn quickly
  • The ability to manage your time well and prioritise workload
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels
  • To be flexible to deal with a wide variety of tasks and undertake global travel as required

Beneficial

  • A basic understanding of the electronic design flow
  • Some experience of marketing/customer interactions
  • Project leadership experience
