We are now looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our team.

The role

Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Marketing Assistant function is part of the global Business Group Marketing Team. Besides working on global projects with the Marketing team, you will have a strong relationship with Marketing Communications and Product Marketing.

Supporting the wider Marketing teams, this role is at the heart of coordinating and driving product launch campaigns to market. You will be liaising across different disciplines within the business to ensure timely contributions in accordance with a detailed project plan.

In addition, you will be responsible for supporting Product Managers in creating content for product promotion both internally to our global sales organisation, and externally to potential customers. This includes writing and editing content and applying concise and consistent messaging in a creative and engaging manner whilst adhering to the Nexperia brand.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Tracking and project management of product launch campaigns - developing a system to track new products to formulate an annual campaign calendar. Ownership and organisation of campaign planning, including project managing all content contributors to ensure timely and professional campaigns are executed.
  • Key business support for the global sales and marketing team - working with Product Managers to develop sales tools and materials to educate and empower sales representatives to promote new products. Tactics include presentations, media, and online trainings and the ownership of the online ‘Sales Support Portal’. Identifying gaps or opportunities for new materials, monitoring the success of previous assets to provide effectiveness feedback to the business.
  • Branding support - becoming an expert of the Nexperia brand to advise and implement across the business.
  • General marketing support to the business - creating and editing video content (full training can be provided if necessary), organising internal events, supporting Product Managers to prepare for conferencing and speaking opportunities.

What our Marketing Assistant will need

Essential

  • A degree in Marketing or a related subject, or similar know-how built up through work experience
  • Prior experience in a Marketing role
  • Strong project management, organisational, planning and creative skills
  • The ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced role
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to converse at all levels within the organisation
  • The ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and with outside agencies
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • The ability to work independently and be a proactive thinker and problem-solver
