What to expect from a day to day perspective

• Responsible for supporting the creation and development of seasonal design ranges across womenswear, balancing creative and commercial needs to deliver against the Concept brief.
• Working across multi-product, you can expect varied and exciting projects to work on within a Department that has full support and enthusiasm from Management in terms of the bigger picture - there’s big plans ahead!!
• Implement the seasonal Design Direction set out by the CBO, Design Director, and the Concept Team to drive the strategic objectives daily through the Design Team. 
• Assist in the creation of a broad variety of styles that creatively respond to a brief, embracing a commercial eye and a think outside of the box approach. 
• Assist in creating CADS, Colour up and developing exciting new product ranges
• Adhoc responsibilities on behalf of the team, from racking up products for meetings to checking artwork submissions.
• Each day must follow a customer led approach supported by store visits, competitive shops and inspirational shopping. 
• A varied and fast paced role with exciting opportunities for growth! Our Management team are really excited about this area of the business of which they have exciting plans for!

From a technical and operational perspective, it would also be advantageous if you are:

•  Illustrator proficient with a Fashion Design Degree or equivalent.
• You should have an outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic nature with the ability to adapt and work collaboratively with our close knit team.
• A genuine excitement about the brand is a must (although we don’t think this is too difficult!).
• You must be confident in your ability to easily switch between different products as the workload is varied and at times fast paced. 
• Able to work cross-functionally and build strong rapport and relationships across the wider teams.
• Understanding of commercial acumen, our customer and market positioning.
• Excellent trend prediction and can translate into contemporary relevance for the Joules brand.
• A genuine sense of resourcefulness and the ability and drive to make the role your own. 

Location

This is a full time role based at our Market Harborough Head Office in Leicestershire and you will need to be able to be present in the office 5 days per week.
