The role

At NFU Mutual, we understand the importance of developing strong relationships. We are looking for aspiring graduates to join our Finance Division at our Head Office, based in Stratford upon Avon, as part of our Graduate Scheme

During your time on the scheme you will gain experience in the following areas of Finance:

  • Financial Reporting & Control
  • Financial Planning and Analysis

Job specification

Our Finance Professional Trainee Scheme is designed to give you both hands-on practical experience and focused technical know-how, to equip you with a balanced combination of soft and technical skills to become a competent and successful Finance leader. On top of this, we will support you through your professional accountancy qualifications of either CIMA or ACCA After receiving a full corporate induction, we will work with you on a local induction plan, tailored to your individual needs. Helping you to achieve your goals will be your own coach plus a mentor from a previous scheme to support you every step of the way as your develop your career with NFU Mutual.

Person specification

We are looking for people who have Finance leadership aspirations as demonstrated by:

  • Possessing strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Having an analytical and logical mind-set, coupled with strong numerical skills
  • Being self-motivated and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Having an ability to identify and solve problems
  • Working effectively both in teams and independently as required
  • Keen to develop, learn new skills and actively participate in our Professional Trainee programme
  • Willing to commit to studying towards CIMA or ACCA qualifications within agreed timescales
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships
  • Having a positive attitude and plenty of ambition and drive to add value

Qualifications

You will have obtained a 2:1 degree or above in a relevant degree
