Part of the Marketing and Communications department at Northampton Saints, the Graphic Design Executive will assist with the creation of best-in-class, engaging and on-brand visual assets to be used both digitally and in print. These assets will support the Club’s full suite of marketing and communications activities, as well as ensuring cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens has a look and feel to support a compelling matchday experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Creation of print assets for fixtures, events and commercial activity.
  • Creation of visual assets for online marketing.
  • Creation of stadium branding and signage.
  • Modification/creation of design templates.
  • Creation of new visual style in conjunction with pending adaptation of Club crest.

The ideal candidate will

  • Be a recent graphic design graduate or candidate looking to make an impact at one of professional rugby’s most-prestigious clubs.
  • Have advanced knowledge of Adobe CC (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects).
  • Be creative, forward thinking, and proactive.
  • Be able to work to deadlines and prioritise key projects.
  • Be able to work to a brief, with a degree of creative license.
  • Understand the requirements for different platforms (eg. print, online, social)
  • Have an appreciation of social media and graphic design trends.
  • Be able to demonstrate a strong portfolio of previous work for both print and digital projects.
  • A knowledge and passion for rugby/sport is advantageous, but not essential.
