This placement is suitable for a student who is looking for an industry placement for the third year of their Sport Science or Sport & Exercise Science BSc.
Norwich City Football Club will make a monthly contribution to living expenses for successful candidates throughout the duration of their placement.
Key tasks/responsibilities
To support full-time academy performance analysts across the department alongside providing academy recruitment department with actionable insights.
Recruitment Analyst
- Assist recruitment team in monitoring players suitable for Norwich City FC Academy.
- Maintain and update recruitment video library with a variety of footage, including exchanges with other clubs.
- Contribute to statistical databases that support Norwich City FC’s recruitment’s strategy.
Performance Analyst
- Assist with academy matchdays, filming, live coding and providing instant feedback for coaching staff and players.
- Film & oversee training coverage with the clubs IP feed setup, alongside utilizing additional technology to provide multi-angle review.
- Support professional development phase analysts with additional ad-hoc projects.
- Execute other tasks as required to assist the department.
