About our Technical Consultancy Graduate Programme

This is the most exciting time to be working in Openreach and technology. The digital and physical worlds are blurring, and the pace of change keeps increasing – that’s why our Technical Consultant Graduates are crucial in developing the transformational technology and solution that can lead Openreach and our customers to achieve brilliant results.

We aim to radically change how technology solutions are delivered, working in an agile environment to transform the experience and enable the best solutions for our customers. Whether you’re looking at engineering innovation, technology strategy and governance or the design of Openreach IT, digital and data systems there are countless challenges to tackle and opportunities to develop with this hands-on role.

You’ll need to have the technical knowledge to know how our products and services work, the ability to be able to translate complex ideas to our customers and the business acumen to be able to see valuable opportunities when they arise. 

It’s not just about Technology though. Whilst on the scheme you’ll have the opportunity to develop a range of other skills such as stakeholder and change management. All together it will give you all the skills and experience you need to kick-start a fantastic career in Openreach.
