The role

We are seeking driven individuals who relish the opportunity to have trust and autonomy from the beginning. Over the course of the next 12 months, you will become an invaluable part of our team, contributing to real life projects, and gaining essential industry knowledge.

Moreover, you’ll be working with experienced professionals, and other students so a placement with us is the perfect opportunity to learn from a variety of people while understanding our values and culture. It’s also a great chance to get involved with real projects while gaining relevant experience.

Main responsibilities

As a placement student in PCI, you will be included in the following tasks:

  • Conducting routine laboratory procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensuring all work performed complies with departmental procedures and is in line with current Good Manufacturing Practice standards.
  • Assisting in the development and validation of laboratory procedures under the guidance of the team.
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures rigorously, both in personal duties and in ensuring the safety of others.
  • Effectively communicating with colleagues on-site and contributing to problem-solving efforts within the department.
  • Undertaking additional laboratory and business-related tasks as necessary to support departmental and business objectives, within the scope of your capabilities and responsibilities.
  • Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Health and Safety regulations, GMP standards, and other regulatory guidelines set by the company.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members.
  • The ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
  • A methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Team Player.
