We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join our thriving Marketing and Business Development Department.

This role will support the Marketing director and wider marketing team across a range of marketing activity, from content production and publication on our internal and external communication channels, to researching and supporting PR outreach and assisting with client events.

Apprentices will be working towards an accredited qualification, but for both routes we will provide a combination of structured training, hands on learning and mentoring to enable progression within the role.

The firm operates a hybrid agile working policy allowing employees to work from home (or another UK location) for up to 50% of their time. Individuals can also apply for other flexible working options either at the time of recruitment or during the course of their employment.

Responsibilities

  • Upload content to the firms' intranet, website and social media channels , such as LinkedIn  and Instagram,
  • Draft written content for internal and external audiences
  • Assist with the coordination of internal and external events,
  • Support in the production of BD and Marketing reports for senior management,
  • Support the digital marketing team on creating/amending branded materials using our digital marketing platform,
  • Support the external comms team on monitoring PR opportunities,
  • Update printed and online marketing collateral including graphics
  • Ensure  our lawyers’ web profiles are up-to-date and consistent,
  • Drafting basic outlines of pitches, capability brochures, legal directory and awards submissions, according to requirements and adhering to firm templates and corporate house style guidelines.

Essential & desirable criteria

  • A minimum of 3 A levels grade C or above, coupled with good GCSEs grade C or above to include English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications)
  • Ability to recognise the importance of, and work to a deadline
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work either alone or collaboratively with other team members
  • Attention to accuracy and detail
  • Collaborative team member with ability to quickly build relationships with a wide range of people
  • Receptive to facilitate and support change
  • Comfortable working under pressure with the ability to plan and prioritise work
