What will you be doing?
You will be part of our UK HR team of 50 people, working across all of Pernod Ricard’s UK businesses including our UK domestic market business ('Pernod Ricard UK'), our global scotch business ('Chivas Brothers'), our travel retail business ('Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail') our global gin business (‘The Absolut Group’, Gin Business Unit), and our global functions based in the UK, notably Technology.
You could be working on any the following topics:
- HR Business Partnering – working with the HR team to provide people support to line managers to ensure a high-performing, engaged workforce aligned to our overall company strategy.
- Talent Acquisition – including supporting our Early Careers programmes and Employer Brand campaigns.
- Compensation and Benefits - assisting with employee benefits management such as queries related to benefits enrolment, troubleshooting employee benefits, and conducting benefits analyses.
- Learning & Development - contributing to the delivery of key initiatives such as our company-wide induction programme.
Who are you? We’re looking for people who are:
- Completing a degree in any discipline from any UK university and with the ability to complete a year in industry from the summer of 2025.
- We also welcome applications from recent graduates who are open to undertaking a year-long placement.
- Passionate about HR and people
- Able to show an understnading of how complex, matrixed organisations work.
- Strong communicators, able to position complex messages in a concise and compelling style
- Able to show high mental agility (intellectual curiosity, embracing complexity, managing multiple priorities) and high people agility (building relationships, working well with others, emotional intelligence)
- Able to demonstrate a track record of excellence or of achieving results

We operate a hybrid working policy and our experience has found that our interns get the most out of their time with us if they are spending minimum 3, ideally 4 days per week in the office. We therefore ask that all our interns agree to spend 3-4 days per week in the office.
