    • Chivas Brothers, the largest brand company in the Group, responsible for the production and management of our award-winning Scotch whisky portfolio
    • Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail, the global and EMEA home of the group’s duty free, air travel and cruises business.

    About the Bright Futures Programme

    We’re looking to recruit undergraduates with flair and motivation to join our Bright Futures programme, offering you a huge amount of invaluable business experience. At Pernod Ricard you can actually make an impact, and many of our placement students have returned to Pernod Ricard.

    Placements will commence in June 2023, and will be based in our West London offices on Chiswick Business Park. We offer a fantastic package including a competitive salary, generous annual leave entitlement and a product allowance to spend on our brands.

    About the team    

    This position sits in our Pernod Ricard UK (PRUK) business. Our diverse population of 300+ passionate employees have been creating conviviality since 2001, bringing our premium brands and unforgettable experiences to the UK. As the world’s 2nd largest spirits market, the UK is a key location for our company. Since 2017 PRUK has also hosted The Gin Hub, the team responsible for managing the Group’s unrivalled portfolio of ‘Premium+’ International Gins globally.

    The Gin Hub was established in 2017 as a standalone Brand Company to transform the way Pernod Ricard approaches the Gin category and to accelerate performance across our portfolio of International Gin brands, namely Beefeater, Plymouth, Malfy, Monkey 47 & Ki No Bi.  Premium is the heartland of our business and we have an enviable portfolio of premium, super premium and ultra premium Gin brands which complement each other perfectly and are internationally acclaimed for their great taste and superior quality.  We are a diverse, convivial, passionate, entrepreneurial and dynamic team, united in our ambition to make Pernod Ricard the No.1 player in Premium+ Gin worldwide.  

    About the roles

    There are two roles available which are both detailed below. If you have a particular preference for a role, you will be able to put this in your application. If you are equally interested in either role, you can select 'no preference'.

    All candidates will be considered for all available roles. For successful candidates, we will take preferences into account where possible, as well as recommending the best fit role for you based on what we have learnt about you through the process. 

    1. Marketing Activation Executive Intern
      • Malfy: Social Media asset up loads and North American asset/admin requests. Comms production assistance - (supporting new Consumer Engagement Platform roll out). Reporting: competitor reviews and deep dives into key brand performance questions
      • Beefeater: Q1 July – September 2021 – As we reopen for the summer in our Beefeater brand home post COVID restrictions a chance to support the team in the Home of the World’s Most Awarded gin in the heart of London (Vauxhall). Ecomm support for newly launched B2C site: liaison with brand team, and web team, on new launches, monthly promotions, 12 month e-commerce calendar and website improvements. Community Outreach – developing hyper local plan to put us on the map on our doorstep, liaising with local on trade, businesses and convenience in our continued efforts to ensure Beefeater display and feature in every possible local outlet and seeking out partnership opportunities to drive footfall and revenue. Project management/support with planning and delivery of new VIP experiences and brand home events and liaison with the Plymouth Gin Brand Home team to share best practices. Content / social media – working with the Beefeater digital manager to create and deliver content from the brand home
      • Supporting Market Activation: Support the Market Activation team with follow up on market needs, asset provision, sourcing of toolkits and preparation for key market meetings and engagements. Support the Market Activation team with the development of The Juniper Gathering Feb 2022 – the key moment in the year for The Gin Hub when it comes to market engagement to ensure markets are inspired, engaged and supported on their B23(July 2022-June 2023) plans and on key IBP cycles – November, February, June for key initiative communication to markets.
    2. Marketing Executive Intern
      • Innovation & Sustainability initiatives Beefeater: This will cover most of the elements of the marketing mix with a particular focus on packaging and last three feet assets to activate our NPD in market.  Your key purpose is to support the Beefeater innovation team with the day to day management of the innovation projects as well as either leading or assisting key marketing initiatives.
      • Key Brand Assets: Supporting the innovation team on the development of key brand assets: Packaging, L3F, etc. and be the guardian of the content of internal com tools (interface to markets e.g. My Brands asset cloud uploads) and the brand administrator (e.g. samples and POS requests). Support in budget tracking and administration including PO raising, new vendor creation process etc. Building strong working relationships with Agency Suppliers, The Gin Hub Market Activation Team, Brand Ambassadors & Global BM Beefeater.
      • Transversal projects: Support in the preparation of Juniper Gathering, IBP and Budget planning decks. Support in the preparation of internal brand events. Management and updating of Beefeater induction deck. Support in the VIP festive KIT development (i.e. X-Mas hampers).

    What do we require?     

    • Studying a recognised sandwich undergraduate degree (or able to transfer onto one) 
    • A relevant undergraduate degree
    • On track to achieve 2:1 or above 
    • Be available to work for 12 months from June 2023, based in west London
