- Chivas Brothers, the largest brand company in the Group, responsible for the production and management of our award-winning Scotch whisky portfolio
- Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail, the global and EMEA home of the group’s duty free, air travel and cruises business.
About the Bright Futures Programme
We’re looking to recruit undergraduates with flair and motivation to join our Bright Futures programme, offering you a huge amount of invaluable business experience. At Pernod Ricard you can actually make an impact, and many of our placement students have returned to Pernod Ricard.

About the team
This position sits in our Pernod Ricard UK (PRUK) business. Our diverse population of 300+ passionate employees have been creating conviviality since 2001, bringing our premium brands and unforgettable experiences to the UK. As the world’s 2nd largest spirits market, the UK is a key location for our company. Since 2017 PRUK has also hosted The Gin Hub, the team responsible for managing the Group’s unrivalled portfolio of ‘Premium+’ International Gins globally.

As a member of the marketing department, you will work cross functionally to ensure our brands are present and play an active role in the moments that matter in consumers lives. You will have a commitment to efficiency and ROI, to learning and improving and sharing best practice across the department to enable us to accelerate our performance. You will have a clear view of the big initiatives that will accelerate growth for our business, from A&P investment, to NPD, to digital acceleration & experiential and you will focus on delivering these with impact so we can achieve our goal.
About the roles
There are three roles available which are detailed below. If you have a particular preference for a role, you will be able to put this in your application. If you are equally interested in more than one role, you can select 'no preference'.
All candidates will be considered for all available roles. For successful candidates, we will take preferences into account where possible, as well as recommending the best fit role for you based on what we have learnt about you through the process.
- Customer Marketing Executive Intern
- Creation and execution of On Trade campaign: to be rolled out nationally across the various on trade channels (e.g St Patrick’s Day, National Pina Colada Day, Summer Spritz, Malfy Aperitivo Hour), working closely with Lead Customer Marketing Manager.
- Campaign Strategy: Development of campaign strategy based upon commercial insights to create activation which drives value for a broad range of customers. Campaigns to drive footfall, increase average spend and convert consumers to purchase our brands
- Manage the appropriate customer marketing spend v budget: Manage projects and key channel marketing initiatives Any other reasonable additional duties that may be required from time to time.
- Experiential Marketing Executive Intern
- Support: Support the rest of the Experiential Team to help develop and deliver experiential activity (brand pop-ups, brand partnerships, sampling, festivals, virtual events etc) as and when briefed by brand teams, corporate communication or commercial teams.
- Identifying opportunities: Identify tactical opportunities for activity and propose to the Head of Experiential Marketing & Consumer Activation. In the context of a UK focused role, the Experiential Marketing Executive must operate within the known constraints in the market place.
- Administrative support: Provide administrative support to the team with financial processes, presentation support, stock orders and general experiential & industry research. Liaise with venues, agencies, designers and printers, event staffing and brand teams to ensure effective execution and delivers against the set KPI’s.
- Marketing Executive Intern
- Marketing: Assist with day-to-day brand management activities for Absolut and Malibusuch as; generating and collating brand assets, assisting the commercial teams with brand requests and sending out product/brand information to key external stakeholders. Support with management of brand social media channels; day to day running of platforms and budget reconciliation. Assist with yearly brand plans for Absolut & Malibu. Helping to manage brand events, both consumer and customer facing. Managing the brands email campaigns (eCRM). Organising competitions driven on our digital channels. Managing monthly content updates on our brand websites. Assisting the customer marketing teams to help drive cross channel activations across the year. Managing specific, tactical consumer projects that you help to devise and execute the plans for.
- Insights: Compile monthly innovation tracker; monitoring of key competitor activity & new product releases. As required to fulfil ad-hoc requests, retrieve Nielsen and CGA data from the relevant databases using the Answers software.
- Absolut and Malibu: As part of the wider marketing team, you will work directly with the Absolut & Malibu brand marketing team to assist with brand management activities. Support the Business and Consumer Insights division of the marketing team in providing relevant, timely and actionable insights to the business.

What do we require?
- Studying a recognised sandwich undergraduate degree (or able to transfer onto one)
- A relevant undergraduate degree
- On track to achieve 2:1 or above
- Be available to work for 12 months from June 2023, based in west London
