Pro currently has an exciting opportunity to be part of our Insurance Services team as a Premium and income monitoring Analyst. This role will be varied, including monitoring premium income, analysing reports and investigating differences.
Pro operates a flexible hybrid working policy and this role would be based either working at home or working at home and at our Gloucester or Liverpool office.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Analyse Delegated Authority (DA) and/or contract agreement records utilising available information such as bordereaux.
- Run reports to identify key premium-related information about policies.
- Investigate and resolve EPI related issues and be able to articulate them.
- Refer issues to the relevant team for further investigation / resolution.
- Monitor responses to referrals and escalate where responses are not received in a timely manner.
- Review premium-related system updates in order to ensure adherence to the required quality criteria.
- Create and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders – underwriting ops, finance, and Chief Underwriter Office.
- Use innovative thinking to suggest improvements to processes.
- Carry out adhoc ‘deep dive’ analytical reviews where required.
- Advise offshore data entry teams on process for Match to Signed adjustments and incorrect data entry.
- Assist the Team Manager with external & internal audits being carried out regarding financial, process related queries.
Skills and experience
- Understanding of principles of insurance and reinsurance is essential.
- Strong technical skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
- Good understanding of London market systems and procedures is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills
- Maintain a conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with colleagues.
- Ability to work remotely.

- Ability to demonstrate initiative
