Job description

St Marks Studios is a London based Brand Experience agency part of Taylor Herring, producing COOH, Experiential, Events Stunts and Content for brands and agencies. Some really cool ones too, like Samsung, easyJet, Disney, Subway, Amazon, Apple TV and Paddy Power to name but a few!

The team are looking for a production assistant for an exciting 12 month placement year opportunity starting in June 2024. 

This role will support all four of the main functions: logistics, operations, finance and internal team support. You will work closely with everyone from Producers, Creatives, Client Teams right up to Head of Production assisting with pre-production shoot logistics, maintaining team admin and assisting with on-site shoot running. 

On small shoots, you will work directly with the Producers to help deliver stunts and activations, stepping up into more responsibility.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Hiring studios and production equipment
  • Booking hotels and flights for cast and crew
  • Attending production meetings and making notes
  • Keep the production calendar up to date with shoot dates
  • Managing returning all unused props from shoots, arranging couriers for props to client and storing kept props in the store cupboard
  • Responsible for keeping the store cupboard orderly recycling or donating items that have that have become redundant
  • Assist with writing production schedules and distributing them to relevant cast and crew
  • Assist the Production Coordinator with typing and distributing call sheets and daily reports
  • Desk based research for shoots including props and populating production decks
  • Other duties from time to time as appropriate and subject to workloads.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational abilities.
  • Proactive and one step ahead of all tasks

  • Work well as part of a team with the ability to manage both up and down.
