Help the Commercial Finance team create visibility and control of RBUK’s financial performance by getting out into the business and connecting functions together, using insights from detailed analysis, and implementing systems controls to influence outcomes and ensure robust, accurate financial forecasting and reporting. This role offers great exposure to a finance function and the chance to drive positive, enduring change whilst offering an excellent opportunity to gain broad business understanding, touching sales, marketing, and operations teams too.
Create visibility and control: To assess and propose improvements to processes and reports which enable insightful decisions to influence outcomes. With a particular focus on our Capital Assets, Inventory, and Physical Distribution Costs, you will work cross-functionally to develop the visibility and control of your budget owners, and better connect our Balance Sheet with our P&L.
Reporting: learn and develop our reporting requirements so with your detailed understanding of our existing methods you can recommend improvements that interconnect and automate systems, cut wastage, and offer greater visibility and control to stakeholders.
Internal efficiencies: Carry out a deep dive project to review, assess, and optimise the end-to-end cost management of our Point-of-Sale material from logistics all the way through to the performance in store. This will be a standout piece of work with probable exposure to the UK Directors so a huge opportunity to stamp your mark.
