We are currently recruiting for a Shopper Marketing Intern to join us from 13 June 2022 - 12 September 2022.
The intern will help deliver Red Bull’s ambitious growth plans by supporting the shopper marketing team. Their primary focus being in-store customer facing point of sale putting Red Bull at maximum exposure and opportunity for sales while working with our UK retail partners & channels. The last date for submitting your applications will be 3 April, 2022. Interviews will be held during the last week of April, 2022. The internship will be based at our head office in London.
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with
POS & Instore
- Manging core and bespoke POS & PMU process (per merchandised unit) with the POS manager.Developing solutions for retail that align to the Red Bull brand plans and initiatives. POS production management and stock allocation with our distribution partners
Customer & Stakeholder relationships
- Establish effective joint working relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally, including regular cross function meetings with other teams. Attend Customer meetings, briefings and relationship building opportunities. Develop strong relationships with our key internal stakeholders – brand, sales, field and operations. Working on brand presentation days – planning, organising and working alongside critical agencies.
Team player
- Working in the shopper marketing team, you’ll be a key part of the team and the broader sales and Customer marketing team. You’ll be keen and comfortable with providing in-person or group updates on shopper placement performance. You’ll live and breath the Red Bull values, support your colleagues when and where you can. You’ll play an active part in spotting new and amazing opportunities that we may have missed, out in the market.
Reporting & Trade press
- Support the POS, Activation and Chiller Manager with monthly placement reporting. Support the trade press strategy and planning alongside the POS Manager.
Organisation & Planning
- Ensuring projects, brand plans and deliverables are tracked for key milestones and delivered on time. Budget management of projects, initiatives and ad hoc projects. Skilled with diary management and organising stakeholders at all levels. Attention to detail (retail is detail) and playing an activate part in ensuring Awesome in Outlet is truly Awesome.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role
- Strong skills with PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Creative, time management, prioritisation, organisation, adaptability, relationship building
- A strong interest in Customers and how they shop across the retail sphere
- A passion for delivering marketing leading presence in store
- Able to form and implement strategies, to maximise time and effectiveness
- We value experience over formal qualifications.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
