We’re one of the world’s leading industrial technology companies, and it’s all thanks to our people. They’re the reason we’ve created a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment where you can do your best work and feel like you belong.

At Rolls-Royce, we pioneer cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet our planet’s vital energy needs. We believe in the transforming potential of technology to protect our planet, secure our world and explore our universe. That’s why we’re helping lead the way in the transition to a net zero-carbon future for us all.

Join us for a 10-week summer internship and you'll find yourself at the heart of the action, working on incredible projects with incredible people – and building your leadership skills along the way. You’ll be welcomed into a friendly, inclusive culture that believes in plenty of opportunities and learning, no matter what level you’re at. Assessment Centres will be running from November onwards.

About the programme

This is a fantastic opportunity to get a real insight into our business and contribute to solving challenges that impact various areas of our business, from strategy to innovation, customer management to procurement and more.

You could see for yourself how we negotiate contracts on a global level, or provide support to our commercial team, where we’ve just opened the world’s largest and smartest indoor aerospace testbed. Or you might be involved helping purchase the parts for a highly efficient jet engine, a building or IT system.

Thanks to a combination of digital learning and on-the-job training, you’ll build a wealth of new skills with the help of industry experts. People who are as invested in your success as you are.

This is your chance to gain a fantastic insight into a leading, global business. But it’s up to you to make the most of it. If you do well, you could be offered a place on our graduate programme.

About you

This programme is all about potential and we're open to degrees in any subject. What's most important to us is that you live and breathe our values (Trust, Integrity and Safety) and behaviours (Agile, Bold, Collaborative and Simple) and want to shape the future of our business.

You’ll need to be open-minded, curious, collaborative and agile – someone who enjoys problem solving, and who recognises the power of teamwork.

It’s also important that you’re flexible about where you work and are willing to travel between locations if required.

Our culture

The way we see it, being your best shouldn’t come at the expense of being yourself. At Rolls-Royce, creating an environment where everyone is heard, respected and valued is crucial to our success. It’s a fundamental part of who we are as an organisation. We’re taking deliberate action to increase the diversity of our teams through policies and practices that celebrate the thoughts, experiences and qualities which make us all unique.

At Rolls-Royce, we recruit interns based on merit, and regardless of age, disability, gender identity or expression, race/colour/nationality/ethnic or national origins, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation or any other characteristic protected by applicable legislation.
