Central Alliance, a member of RSK Group, have a unique opportunity for a Graduate to join our Ground Investigation team, based in Wakefield, UK. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates looking to take on challenging projects and further their skills/interest, which has been acquired through their academic studies.

Central Alliance is an ever-expanding Ground Investigation contractor with a fleet of specialist drilling plant and equipment, operating in numerous varying sectors including construction, defence, rail, utilities and transport.

Responsibilities

  • Supervision of Ground Investigations.
  • Logging of soil and rock in accordance with BS5930:2020.
  • Managing site works, dealing with suppliers and preparation of health and safety documentation.
  • Factual Report writing and data processing.
  • Assisting senior staff with project related duties.
  • Oversee department equipment - allocation, hire, servicing and repair.
  • Travel and attend meetings as required.
  • Client liaison.
  • Suitable candidates will be flexible with a willingness to work away from home.

About you

Essential Professional/Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • BSc degree level qualified in Geology or a related subject, essential.
  • Understanding of laboratory testing with working knowledge of geotechnical and environmental guidance, BS10175. 
  • Full valid UK driving license.
