The role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team for 2 weeks this summer. DRC Savills IM’s summer insight programme will provide you with an opportunity to sit alongside our experienced real estate debt professionals and gain hands-on experience in the commercial real estate finance industry. You will have exposure to all aspects of the analysis of real estate debt investments, including market research, financial modelling, and due diligence.

Role responsibilities

Responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct market research and analysis on real estate debt investment opportunities
  • Gain exposure to the underwriting and financial modelling of real estate debt investments
  • Prepare investment memoranda and presentations
  • Participate in weekly team meetings where investment opportunities are discussed

Job requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally
  • Interest in a career in commercial real estate finance
  • Full-time availability for the period 15 - 26 July 2024
