Schroders Capital is the private markets investment division of Schroders, one of the world's leading asset managers. It offers investors a local approach to investing across a broad range of private asset strategies, supported by a global perspective.
Schroders Capital is a business built to provide investors with access to a broad range of private asset investment opportunities, portfolio building blocks and customised private asset strategies. Its team has been operating in private markets for over two decades, focusing on delivering best-in-class, risk-adjusted returns and executing investments through a combination of direct investment capabilities and broader solutions in all private market asset classes, through comingled funds and customised private asset mandates. Your responsibilities
You will support the sales and distribution of Schroders Capital's private markets investment capabilities into institutional and intermediary channels. Some of your tasks may include:
- Creating and maintaining pitchbooks, developing and updating materials, aid in management of due diligence processes, and creation of ad-hoc analysis related to strategies and portfolios
- Supporting the creation of proposals (including RFP output) and marketing materials;
- Conducting database monitoring (Preqin, Pitchbook etc);
- Monitoring and analysing key areas of private markets and deliver the outputs to the team and other internal stakeholders on a quarterly basis; contributing to development of strategic views and research into new investment ideas
- Supporting solution design and development – as part of this you will develop a detailed knowledge of the Schroders Capital capability set, the product and fund toolkit, and have good broadly based experience of the private markets
- Supporting data analysis and develop skills in portfolio modelling and financial analysis as required
- Working with structuring hub on the structure and operating model for projects

The knowledge, skills and qualifications we're looking for
- An honours degree or equivalent
- A strong and demonstrable interest in Private Assets is important
- A second European language an advantage but not a necessity
- You will be in your final year of study or already graduated
