Fancy being part of a collaborative, forward-thinking global leader in critical communication solutions? Here at Sepura Ltd we are currently recruiting for a Graduate Android Application Developer to join our expanding team.
We are looking for someone to join our expanding Android development team, to help us create Android Apps, and tailor the Android platform, to meet the needs of our Public Safety customers.
This role would ideally suit a recent graduate from a degree course that includes a bias to Mobile Application Development, or someone with relevant experience looking for their first job move.
Sepura produces physical products – we develop hardware and software. Therefore, we need a wide variety of skills, and we need adaptable Software engineers.
We will be aiming to develop both your Android Application and your Android platform (aosp) development knowledge and skills
You will be working in an Agile Scrum Team with other likeminded developers and involved in all aspects of the software development.
Your day to day will be working in a Scrum Team with other SW engineers developing and testing Android application software:
- Application Design and Implementation
- Android Studio, IntelliJ, Git
- Software testing, majoring on automated testing
- Robolectric
- Prototyping solutions to gain early feedback
What you need to succeed
- Graduate in Computer Science or related discipline
- Java for a mobile device, ideally Android
- Experience of Android Application Development (e.g. commercial or self-published on github/ playstore)
