We have an exciting role opportunity working in the Siemens Professional Education (SPE) UK department of Siemens. The team forms part of the SPE International group. This in-house provider group pave the way for talent into their digital working environment and are one of the largest providers for Professional Education. In fiscal 2020, Siemens trained 6,800 apprentices and dual students worldwide.

The challenge

Here is a taste of what you can expect from this internship:

  • Working within Siemens Professional Education to develop, deliver and execute a strategy which meets the businesses objectives in delivering apprenticeship and early career programmes to a high standard
  • Ensure that all relevant stakeholders across the Siemens businesses have regular updates and are informed of all opportunities, programme deadlines and possible risks in accordance with the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework, Awarding Bodies and the Education and Skills Funding Agency rules
  • Establish and implement plans and procedures ensuring ongoing compliance with appropriate audit schedules
  • Working with the Quality Manager to monitor internal, customer and subcontractor performance, ensuring corrective actions are taken if objectives become a risk
  • Ensure all Awarding Body registrations and claims are processed correctly and closed out efficiently
  • Define and implement project controls to deliver the management of information necessary for effective progress reporting and forecasting
  • Support in project scoping activities to identify, gather and analyse business requirements, key drivers and define effective and innovative solutions
  • Support the Data Consultant with quality checking against Siemens Professional Education processes that are aligned to the Education and Skills Funding Agency rules
  • Project support in line with strategic growth areas and annual cycle of events

The Candidate

We are looking for innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:

  • Studying towards a 2:2 or above in a Business-related discipline
  • You think logically, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving
  • You can work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change
  • You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions
