From supplier liaison for routine deliveries to specialized low volume transactions, warehousing and logistical complexities, challenging distribution routes and requirements through to internal and external customer management.

Few days are identical in our supply chain environment where teams work closely to deliver to the exacting demands of our truly global customer base.

For this role we are only opening applications for a true year in industry applicant looking for industrial experience as part of a degree study course.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders in multiple functions and locations of the Aero Gas Turbine (AGT) business in the delivery of customer requirements.
  • Develop your knowledge of Supply Chain operations and practices in a specialised supply chain environment.
  • Build your Continuous Improvement skills and confidence through Lean Six Sigma basics training and owning/implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

What you bring

  • On track to graduate with a 2:2 degree or above with a basic knowledge of Logistics or Supply Chain
  • Are flexible, know how to connect with others and pride yourself on being positive
  • Enjoy jumping in and, with support from us, feel confident taking responsibility for live tasks and projects you’ve been assigned
  • Are comfortable with change and able to react to unexpected challenges with enthusiasm
  • Willingness to embrace continuous improvement with the ability to generate creative solutions
  • Familiarisation with Microsoft products with an advanced ability to manipulate data, present results and manage a busy diary and calendar

A professional global supply chain operation with accountability to deliver a catalogue of >20,000 unique part numbers. The total team manages the total process from supplier selection and management, purchase, warehousing and quality control through to customer delivery.
