Main purpose of the role: This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with an interest in pursuing a career in professional services M&BD to gain on the job experience across all aspects of a fast-paced M&BD function within an international law firm.

This role will support one of our international practice groups or sectors. You'll work on a variety of activities, such as event management, research and pitching. You'll also work with our central marketing teams to deliver digital marketing and social media initiatives, press releases and other marketing campaign activity.

Main duties & responsibilities

  • Pitching - producing client-facing pitch documents and supporting the maintenance of the firm's pitch infrastructure and credentials database.
  • Events - assisting with all aspects of event planning and management for both in-person events and webinars, including managing marketing lists, producing event invitations and internal communication, diary co-ordination, organising event logistics and attending events on the day.
  • Directory submissions - assisting with directory submissions, including chasing for content and ensuring documents are completed and submitted on time.
  • CRM - assisting with the maintenance and administration of the firm's client database (InterAction) and our relationship intelligence tool (Introhive).
  • Website and intranet updates - updating the firm's intranet as required and liaising with the central marketing teams to ensure website content is kept up to date.
  • Marketing collateral - creating and managing marketing collateral using the firm's software including flyers, brochures, event invitations and social media posts.
  • Research and reporting - gathering data and compiling internal and client facing reports.
  • Marketing campaigns - assisting with larger campaign activity, briefing work into the relevant teams and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Other activity - as required.

You will be required to

  • Work as a team - working with the team to reach milestones and achieve objectives both in terms of significant projects and day to day tasks.
  • Achieve deadlines - being proactive in picking up tasks and completing them in accordance with deadlines.
  • Familiarise yourself with M&BD processes - continuously developing and evolving knowledge of relevant M&BD processes to provide efficient and high-quality support to the wider M&BD team and the firm.
  • Undertake training and development - attending regular training and development and learning and implementing best practice and ensuring high quality levels. Gaining an understanding of the business through daily tasks and projects.
  • Report - frequent reporting of service delivery and progress regarding projects.
