The Graduate Design Engineering role

As a member of the McAlpine Design Group you'll gain an invaluable understanding of both permanent and temporary works, you'll develop areas of expertise including architectural, structural, offshore, geotechnical designs, nuclear-related structural and civil design.  Other technical avenues include M & E Airtightness engineering, CAD/BIM support and technical information.

Your profile

  • A degree or Masters qualification in Civil, Structural Engineering or a related field
  • Work experience, ideally in the discipline of interest (desirable)
  • A passion for problem solving and ‘thinking outside the box'
  • An interest to continue learning and developing yourself
  • A full driving licence (desirable)
