We are looking for a GIS Analyst to join our Infrastructure team within the @one Alliance; delivering over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme.
You'll
- Utilise existing tools and data to perform spatial analytics in GIS
- Research and adopt innovative techniques to provide new insights
- Report findings to influence decision-making and support business activities
- Support the wider digital team in understanding GIS's role in supporting business activities
- Offer end-user support and guidance on GIS systems and processes
- Develop and implement rollout plans for new GIS applications
- Utilize ArcGIS suite tools to build and develop new applications
- Update and improve existing GIS applications
- Work with external suppliers to project manage application development.
- Promote the use of GIS and digital technologies within the Alliance
- Deliver internal presentations on the value of GIS
- Provide updates to the wider digital team and support digital transformations
We're looking for
- Geography or a Science Degree
- You’ll have a keen interest in emerging technologies and practical delivery
- Ideally experience in a GIS role, particularly in analytics or application development and have proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS products, including ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro
- You will be confident in providing support and training where required.
- Proficient in coding languages relevant to GIS (Arcade, Python, SQL)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and enjoy working in multi-disciplinary teams.
