We are looking for a GIS Analyst to join our Infrastructure team within the @one Alliance; delivering over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme.

You'll

  • Utilise existing tools and data to perform spatial analytics in GIS
  • Research and adopt innovative techniques to provide new insights
  • Report findings to influence decision-making and support business activities
  • Support the wider digital team in understanding GIS's role in supporting business activities
  • Offer end-user support and guidance on GIS systems and processes
  • Develop and implement rollout plans for new GIS applications
  • Utilize ArcGIS suite tools to build and develop new applications
  • Update and improve existing GIS applications
  • Work with external suppliers to project manage application development.
  • Promote the use of GIS and digital technologies within the Alliance
  • Deliver internal presentations on the value of GIS
  • Provide updates to the wider digital team and support digital transformations

We're looking for

  • Geography or a Science Degree
  • You’ll have a keen interest in emerging technologies and practical delivery
  • Ideally experience in a GIS role, particularly in analytics or application development and have proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS products, including ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro
  • You will be confident in providing support and training where required.
  • Proficient in coding languages relevant to GIS (Arcade, Python, SQL)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and enjoy working in multi-disciplinary teams.
