About the role

Are you looking for an internship that provides hands-on experience supports a fast-paced global sustainability team handling Springer Nature’s sustainable business activities including climate action, corporate social responsibility and the chance to make connections at one of the largest publishers of education and research content?

The Springer Nature Opening Doors Sustainability internship, is a paid opportunity in the UK to gain experience in corporate sustainability, within a large global organisation.

The successful applicant will spend up to nine months within the Sustainable business team part of the global Corporate Affairs department of Springer Nature Group. If selected for this internship, you will provide important support on projects related to the company’s social and environmental impact, global charitable giving, and will also be working with the Green Impact network supporting sustainability efforts across our offices. Working with specialists in the Sustainable Business team, and colleagues in internal communications and social media, and building relationships with others across the company, you will work across three areas: charitable contributions (global and UK), community activities (London) and employee engagement in sustainability.

Based in our London office, this internship of 6- 9 months supports a fast-paced global sustainability team handling Springer Nature’s sustainable business activities, including: climate action, corporate social responsibility; diversity, equity and inclusion; our support for the UN's sustainable development goals (SDGs); and our global sustainability employee network (Green Impact Network) .

  • Have excellent organisational skills
  • Enjoy presenting and communicating information
  • Willing to learn new skills
