About the role

  • Role starts in APRIL 2024
  • Role will be based within the ICE PIGGING sector.
  • There is travel expected in this role and nights away from home - around the UK and overseas - You are provided with a company car.
  • Based in the Pucklechurch / Bristol regions.
  • Role is offered on a 24 month basis.
  • £27,560 + Company Car or Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
  • You must have the right to work in the UK.
  • You must have a FULL UK driving licence for this role.

What will I be doing?

  • Work closely with the team for 24 month scheme, to develop skillset required for business-to-business sales of Ice Pigging Service.    
  • Carry out a variety of tasks within the team to gain a working knowledge of the Ice Pigging operation, along with its key applications and benefits.  
  • Use a combination of methods, including digital outreach, to identify new customers and build client relationships.
  • Throughout the scheme you will be given individual support from a holistic support network (an HR contact, your mentor and your line manager).
  • Attend training courses for B2B sales.
  • At the end of the scheme, have the skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications to move into a Business Development role with the Ice Pigging team.
  • Attend relevant conferences as required to gain better knowledge and understanding of the wider water industry to understand possible applications for Ice Pigging and to develop networking skills.
  • To undertake professional and personal development by improving own knowledge of the water and wastewater industry.  
  • Attend customer sites, UK wide, including overnight stays, to undertake meetings and assessment of potential operations sites.
  • Occasional overseas work may be required.
  • Help to bring in new clients to our rapidly growing Ice Pigging business.
  • Help to produce quotes for identified projects.

What are the requirements?

  • Graduated within the last 2/3 years in an Engineering or Science discipline - degree at 2:2 standard
  • 3 A levels at grade A-C (or equivalent)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Must have full UK driving licence and able to drive long distances.
  • Must currently live or be willing to relocate to Bristol region for duration of scheme.
  • Must be OK with being away from home as overnight stays will be required within UK, and occasionally overseas.
  • Ideally you will already have some work experience through an industrial placement or summer placement to underpin your exceptional academic record.
  • Confident communicator - able to develop and build on relationships at all levels within organisations - existing and new customers and Suez.
  • Background knowledge in physical sciences or engineering is required to undertake technical sale of Ice Pigging operations
  • Confident user of range of IT platforms
  • Drive to succeed and learn new skills
  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen 
  • A keen eye for detail
