Undergraduate Placement Programmer 2024/25

Are you currently in your second year at University and keen to work on development of one of our games?

Sumo Digital are delighted to announce the return of our paid Programming Undergraduate Placement Scheme for the academic year 2024/25.

The scheme offers a fantastic opportunity for talented students to spend a year working as games programmers on our live projects, a great chance to improve your programming skills on a real project. We highly value the contribution that exceptional, undergraduate talent bring to our studio, many of our placement students have returned to work for us permanently after graduation.

This placement scheme is open to Games Programming/Development/Computer Science undergraduates at any university who require an industrial placement in their third year.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a passion for games programming and should be working towards a 2:1 classification or above in their studies and should be able to provide good examples of their own work in C++ for the hiring managers to review.
