Master Data Mgmt. (‘MDM’) is the key to maintaining the quality of the data that drives our business processes - they all rely on accurate, complete master data for suppliers, parts and customers etc.
Make an impact
The successful candidate will attain strong skills and knowledge regarding data analysis with MS Excel, be able to liaise with Swisslog colleagues around the world and use our SAP system to analyse and improve our master data.
We are looking for someone to take over from our current intern, working with other Swisslog Master Data Management (MDM) resources and business users to improve data processes and the quality of master data across our global business.
We are a small team, with a never-ending list of activities/initiatives and wide responsibilities, so you will need to take your share. We will rely on you to be proactive, to manage multiple tasks, deal with large volumes of detailed data and to collaborate effectively with your new colleagues in Europe, North America, Australia and Asia.
During your year with us you will gain a good understanding of master data concepts and the core logistics business functions of SAP to supplement your CV, and you will help to improve data processes to significantly benefit our global businesses.
Bring to the team
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about improving data quality, be able to focus on detail, and take responsibility for multiple tasks/activities. They will have good MS Excel skills, and clear verbal and written communication capabilities including use of MS Teams or Zoom etc. for video conferencing. Flexibility is key, and knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP) and MDM principles would be an advantage.
