IT is undergoing a digital revolution, our global team who support Network, Unified Communications, Automation, Cloud and Endpoint Portfolio have established themselves as critical to how we work, it is truly a business enabler at all levels of company operations.

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company, the position as Build Intern will maintain the company’s interest regarding operations and development of all aspects under the Build portfolio including but not limited to Network Support, Telephony, All Conferencing Modalities, Audio/Visual Architecture and Solutions, Instant Messaging and Presence, Cloud and Endpoint packaging.

The position has responsibilities to maintain, upgrade and develop the systems globally. In addition, participating and running projects to expand current systems or deploy new systems/locations.

Reporting lines and interactions

  • Hierarchically reports to: Engineering Solutions Manager
  • Operationally reports to: Engineering Solutions Manager
  • Directly supervises: None at present

Key interactions internally/externally

  • Internally: Peers in Global IT organization & Global Business Colleagues
  • Externally: External operators, service providers and suppliers

  • Experience on IT Systems and Services

  • Strong or excellent communication skill in English
  • Strong personal efficiency and problem-solving skills; very concerned by security and standardisation/rationalisation aspects

Nice to have:

  • Automation of processes experience
  • Experienced in creating and completing low level documentation from high level designs and taking this through to completion
  • Knowledge of TechnipFMC Business processes

Main accountabilities

ThesServices in the scope are:

  • All services in the Build portfolio

Main activities:

  • Assist and Learn PowerApps and use as an enabler for our User Population
  • Assist in developing automation to support self-service or repetitive tasks
  • Assist with the Introduction of governance to our MS Teams environment
  • Ensure IT Security and continuity providing security patching, software and hardware updates in the infrastructure area
  • Ensures proper delivery of services to the clients
  • Evaluate new or innovative technologies and architectures
  • Help define Network, Unified Communications infrastructure design
  • Keep Network, Unified Communications documentation updated
  • Produce reports, proposals, technical documentation and user guides as required and ensure other team members and business associates are fully trained in the procedures
  • Resolution of service desk requests as necessary
  • Troubleshooting Network, Unified Communications incidents
  • Any other duties prescribed by Head – Global Build Operations
