We are very excited to be looking for a creative and talented Marketing & Communications Assistant to join us at two of Staffordshire’s largest entertainment venues, The Regent Theatre and Victoria Hall in Stoke-on-Trent. Located in the heart of the city, the iconic venues host the best in touring theatre productions including West End musicals, drama, music, comedy and much more!

This role is based at the Victoria Hall, reporting into to the Head of Marketing & Communications, also working closely with the team and frequent collaborators.

The role

The Marketing and Communications Assistant provides crucial support and administrative provision to the wider Marketing & Communications team.

In this varied role, key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver creative and innovative Marketing and PR plans for both venues’ one night product, liaising with producers, agencies and media on marketing activity and initiatives.
  • Support the venue Marketing & Communications team in sourcing and creating assets, timely implementation across different media, and maintaining accuracy in all marketing output.
  • Liaise with producers and agencies to ensure that materials (print, posters and other venue displays) are ordered, processed and distributed with the correct information held and to suitable quantities.
  • Contribute to the planning, delivery and reporting of all Marketing & Communications activities.
  • Support and deputise for the Marketing Manager and Communications Manager as appropriate.
  • Generate content for, and supervise, the venue’s digital and social media channels as directed by the Head of Marketing & Communications and Communications Manager.
