What you’ll do
You’ll quickly discover there’s a lot more to our Finance Apprenticeship than crunching numbers. For a start, you’ll get lots of training and experience in core operational areas of our business. You can gain further qualifications and build your career as you learn. But more importantly you’ll become an integral member of a fast-moving global company, with a culture that’s as individual, as our business model.
The apprenticeship is AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) you will begin your journey on a Level 3 programme after which you will complete the Level 4, both levels will take approximately 36 months to complete. You’ll acquire technical accounting knowledge (for understanding basic accounts and financial statements). Gain knowledge of our business, ethical standards, rules and regulations, and be introduced to our systems and processes.
You will also meet people from other business functions, to build your awareness of how we operate, and discover how a career in finance can add value to what we do, at every opportunity.
What you’ll need
- 5 GCSEs of at least grade C/Level 4 including Maths & English
- Natural curiosity, flexibility, and a talent for connecting with people
- Good communication skills are essential - challenging views and influencing decisions will be a big part of your role
If you have European language skills – particularly German or Polish – that would be a real plus. If you’ve lived and worked in mainland Europe, even better. In a business like ours, all the above assets are great to have.
