At Transport for Wales (TfW) we have big plans to transform the Welsh transport network. It’s our vision to connect communities, create jobs and make travel across Wales and the borders more accessible than ever. That’s where you come in.
About the role
As a HR Graduate, you’ll work closely with teams within the Customer and Culture directorate to enable leaders in TfW to create a safe and positive work environment, and play a key role in advocating and promoting, the equality, diversity and inclusion agenda. Not only will you gain key transferrable skills, but you’ll also take part in several rotations during the scheme. You could spend time with the business partnering, shared services or employee relations, policies and development teams.
Throughout this two-year course, you’ll work towards achieving a professional qualification. As part of your learning, you’ll take part in six practical development workshops and four webinar sessions. Plus, you’ll combine your academic and practical learning to deliver a personal project that contributes to TfW.
Who you are
You’ll be a confident communicator, as you’ll liaise with stakeholders and TfW partners. And, you’ll regularly engage with fellow graduates as you build your own internal network. You’ll do this while taking advantage of on-the-job training, further developing your technical competency.
To apply, you’ll need a degree or apprenticeship degree in a relevant area, such as HR management or business studies. Work or volunteering experience in a related field is desirable, as are Welsh language skills. If you’re passionate about human resources and want to make a genuine impact at TfW, we’d love to hear from you.
