The Ultra Engineering function manages a portfolio of specialist capabilities, generating highly differentiated solutions and products by applying electronic, mechanical, and software technologies in demanding and critical environments to meet customer needs.

The Role

Ultra have an opportunity for a Graduate Engineer undertaking a 2-year training and development programme. The Electrical and Electronic Engineering function in Ultra supports the hardware development lifecycle consisting of requirements analysis, design, implementation, test and verification in order to deliver electronic or electrical components and subassemblies into projects and products. The role holder will be either:

  • an entry level professional with limited work experience but with applicable education, learning skills to perform routine tasks as prescribed and with little autonomy. Someone who works under clearly defined procedures and with close supervision. Expected to progress through a graduate career path; or
  • a technical or skilled individual providing support to others and contributing through application of technical expertise and knowledge gained through experience in clearly defined operations environments and formalised job-related training.
